I recieved an email from UMDNJ back in early July confirming the receipt of my application with instructions about transcripts, letters, etc. I havent gotten a thing since. I know they've been sending out interviews and rejections for some time...

Did anyone get any kind of "app complete" email from them? Or even an email following up on anything that's missing from their file?

thats exactly the same problem I am in

UMDNJ admissions office has been nothing but terrible in my experience with them so far.

That they dont let us call or email them at all about progress is BS. We paid the fee I feel that we deserve a simple notification or reassurance that our app is complete.

I am sitting here freaking since I am worried that some minor detail is holding up my app. I dont want to miss out on an interview simply because they dont see how one of my pre reqs or something works.

Hopefully we will hear something soon.

they have no idea whats going on!

I got a rejection letter from them when i didnt even submit my DAT scores!!!!

AND it says on the website that they dont consider applicants until scores are in!


I called them and they said they didnt have all my info...Just doesnt make sense.....thank God they reconsidered my app!

I got an application received receipt on the 30th of July. I have gotten nothing since then. I paid my secondary almost 8 weeks ago. I am getting kind of frustrated because they are one of the few schools that have given me no updates/emails since my primary application.

yes it's so frustrating just to wait!! AND they were smart enough to put a bold disclaimer in the email they send out:

NOTE: DUE TO THE LARGE VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS, WE ARE UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH APPLICANT REGARDING RECEIPT OF DOCUMENTS AND THE STATUS OF YOUR APPLICATION. WHILE WE UNDERSTAND YOUR DESIRE TO HEAR FROM THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE, WE REGRET WE ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO TELEPHONE CALLS AND E-MAILS FROM EVERYONE WHO APPLIES. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION IN THIS MATTER.

Call them. Don't worry about it. They're really nice. I called and when i referred to that note, she actually laughed... and said it was fine that i called.

umdnj is terrible. i called them and they said theres 1 person working everything so it will take them some time, but i never got any emails

were we suppose to pay the supp fee?
website told us to wait until admin officers email us for it but i never got any emails saying app complete or requesting fee

The application received email from them instructs to mail it in. It's $75 dollars and make sure to put your AADSAS ID on the check
