Ive heard of UMich having a coupole DO residents here and there, but was wondering if they truely are or not? Any DO's or current residents etc. have an info? Thanks.

One of the faculty who is pretty active in administration and teaching is a DO....if that is any indication. Not sure if he does stuff with the match process..

U of Mich is a 4 year program I think. Add in the 1 year osteopathic internship required in MI and you could be in for a long 5 years.

I can confirm there are DOs at Michigan-- I even met some as a visiting student.

Good Luck

Its easily waved if you choose an allo program. Also, if you dont intend to practice in Michigan, you needent worry about it anyway.

But thanks for the word guys.
