UMichigan app status oddity

Any one seeing this when they access the Wolverine status thing?

All my credentials were received on the same day, EXCEPT one science recommendation letter, which is strange because it's all in the same AADSAS packet. It's been more than week now and it's still the same (not received).

The only thing I can think of is that one science letter is dated back to 2008, because I used my school's LOE service (that keeps your letters confidential). Obviously I had asked for the letter back then, right after taking the class, rather than wait until this year to ask for it.

I didn't see anywhere on Michigan's website on the "shelf-life" of LOEs, and none of the other schools I've applied to has had any problems with my "older" letters.

I'm going to call them and ask later but if anyone has a clue, let me know!

Try calling AADSAS. Where all your letters uploaded to your online application? If so, ask AADSAS if they sent them all out on the same date.

I sent all my letters in at the same time (because they were all already on file at this LOE service), and AADSAS Portal indicates that they were all mailed out at the same time, also.

So if Michigan (or any school) received one, it should have received all the others. Hmm...

In that case, I would call the school. You don't want to delay your application further. I sent 3 letters through interfolio (all at the same time/same envelope) and only two were uploaded because interfolio sent two copies of the same letter (which is why i suggested you contact AADSAS in my first post.)

I hope you get this resolved soon.

yea email the admission office. same thing happend to me for the one non science letter. They checked it and changed the status to recieved on the same day that I emailed about it.
