One of the FAQ in school's website says "Applicants can obtain updates on the status of their application by calling our office or emailing us." Would it be advisable for me to do so if I have yet to hear anything from this school?

My GPA is low so I'm not exactly in a good position to be asking so I'm hesitating....
Fortunately GPA isn’t the only thing considered when they review an applicant
Only thing it will do is show your interest in the program, which is a good thing regardless of what your gpa is
they still may not reply...
They said they were open to communication. Just don't spam them.
