Contacting school for application status?

One of the FAQ in school's website says "Applicants can obtain updates on the status of their application by calling our office or emailing us." Would it be advisable for me to do so if I have yet to hear anything from this school?

Fortunately GPA isn’t the only thing considered when they review an applicant

Only thing it will do is show your interest in the program, which is a good thing regardless of what your gpa is

yes! absolutely reach out by october if you haven’t heard anything! you need to be persistent don’t let them pass you by without being actively pursuing dream opportunities
