Hey guys,
I got a phone call from UMN today that I was accepted for 2007 class. I also got acceptance from Tufts. could someone help me, to decide which one is the best to join. Tution difference is nearly just $7000 between these two. so,just cant decide which one to go with.
Any input will be appreciated.

HEY ,
Congrats for ur double acceptance!!
very few are at this position to decide between two school programs.
Personaly i wud suggest u to opt for Tufts...(hands down great program)
Ofcourse minnesota could be good too.
also i think the schools location and weather wud be on my list before i choose a program.Minnesota has real freezing climate !!!And Boston is a great place to be in.( im at BU)
I had attended the minnesota interview and frankly wasnt very impressed by the school or the patient pool.
And i hear from friends at tufts that its a great program.
Ultimately u r the best judge.
good luck

Thank you doc12 for the advice.

Dear Vita dent ,

Congrats on being accepted to 2 progs ........i completely agree with DOC12 .Minnsota may be a good prog but TUFTS beats it hands down .An dthe weather in Minn is miserable and depressing i've heard .

But you are the boss so you choose .

congrats on ur acceptance at both universities. could u pla share ur stas with us?

hi
i know somone who is in the progrma in minnesota, it is a very good program ,plus extremely small class size gives you more personal attention........so u might wanna look into it, the only drawback is weather but it isnt too warm in boston too......so u might wanna look at which is closer to your home in case your family is far or u r married....but no doubt tufts is a great program too, both schools hav an outstanding advanced standing program, dr bertold who was the face of upenn;s FTD program for several years is running the show at minneosota.hope this helps

Congrats on your acceptance.
Please tell me your score on Part1-2 so that i can get an idea of both school.
and Frankly come to boston side is much better, couple of thousand here and there would hardly matter once you come out, trust me.........Have you ever thought as to how many you will make once you grads out of any of these school?????????. Make a decision.
Thanks.

Tufts seems such an obvious choice but after going to the umn interview I can quite understand your dilemma. The interviews at both the places exude such a welcome. Its 10 versus 21 and the upcoming sim lab seems to be quite a draw.Their faculty numbers are also good.Ureally need to think this one out.

Thank you Enamel, and Mitpat for ur advice. I thought about it and I have chosen Tufts because my family is close to boston rather than minneapolis. so..
Good luck for both of you too.

I'm glad you were able to decide but I was wondering how did you work out 7000.The expense for 1 and 2nd year is 36 375 and 76 501-which is summer fall and spring. That at umn for the same is abt 80 000.That is a difference of 30 000 -is this wrong?
