UMN, How long does it take post-interview to hear back?

For anyone who knows about UMN, do you know anything about the waiting time post-interview? I interviewed about two months ago and I have not heard back from them... Do they send out any hold letters? No news means good news or what?? Do they just accept the very best in the applicant pool at this time?

I was accepted at the University of MN - Minneapolis about 1 month after interviewing. Dr. Becker calls you personally, and a letter comes a few days later. I interviewed in the first part of December. I am in-state, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not in how soon you hear back. I'm not sure what their policy is for "holds".
I was also accepted at UMN-Duluth, and they got back to me in under two weeks. I know for Duluth, you are supposed to be told right away whether you are accepted, rejected or waitlisted.

I interviewed in early January and a letter with the scary white address label showed up yesterday informing me that I've been "Wait-listed." (Yippy.) Evidently, once UMN has interviewed all aplicants they'll decide what to do with people on the wait list. So it's more of the waiting game for me!!

Yeah, I was accepted about one month after my interview. Personal call from Dr. Becker and then a letter a week later. I don't know anything about the hold process.

When I interviewed there in mid January Dr. Becker told us she was going to give us a realistic answer and said it would be 2 months before we should expect anything.

Do you mean by March? Don't they try to give a final answer by then, anyways?

It's been a month since I interviewed so I decided to call to see if they were on schedule for decisions. To my surprise, I was told to check back next week for a decision! I was told two months at my interview but I'll take an earlier response...that is if I'm not rejected.

Have you checked back yet??? After I read your post, I got up the nerve to call them and they told me the same thing. Heard anything yet? I haven't 🙁
