my application reached on may 29 .. haven't heard anything after that
 
I emailed Ms Janet and learned that the Uni just started making calls for interview. Good luck to everyone of US.
 
Anyone heard from UMN yet?
 
They have 10 seats....im also waiting!!!! The first person who wrote that got an interview got into colorado so she might have declined the interview even then they havent send anything to anyone or is no one telling anyone!!!!

I'm not the first one with the interview call...There are two more batches ahead of me.... the first interview was conducted on 6/27... and there is an interview next wk too... They are inviting 4 students per batch..This info was given by Janet... I think they are conducting interview for 1 batch everywk...... And they have 11 seats not 10...

Thanks for clarifying...you were the first person who wrote on the forum so I did not mean u were the first person to get a call by the school...i saw ur post on buffalo school forum that you declined their interview so i assumed you declined UMN IV too...i was reading last years umn post and someone had wrote about 10 seats..its good that they have 11 seats not 10.

Read all of their faqs on the pass page..they hv explained it well..ur nt late n u shud apply if u want to

Maybe you need to work on your SOP chinnu, just saying. Your stats are good, so the only thing i can think of is your personal statement. Get some opinions on it .

Thank you very much for the response. I tried changing my SOP and CV numerous times. But nothing improved. If possible, can you please share your SOP and CV, so that I can compare and see if I can improve my SOP and CV.

Could you please share your interview experience at UMN. what were the 3 interviews, simulation test, and critical thinking like? Please suggest what and how to prepare.
I have my interview in August. I am really worried.
 
Got mail saying..at this time u r not chosen but your file is active and status might change....my application was complete on 21st may...

All the interviews were really comfortable .... They just make you feel as if you are already part of the institution... Dr. Bakdash and Janet are really sweet and they make you feel really comfortable ... Just be yourself at the time of interview.... The instructor for the Skills assessment test is also really sweet and tells you about how to cut the cavity in the tooth and what kind of things we have to keep in mind while cutting... So just be cool headed that day and be yourself...All the best

Hi , I am new to this forum. would like to know how many total batches for 11 UMN seats...any rough idea? 11 batches X 4 = 44 persons for 11 seats? or more than 100?
I am waiting for call. Thanks in advance.

Part 1 pass, Toefl 111, GPA 3.75, MPH followed by 2 yrs of research experience in US. Also 2 yrs of clinical experience in home country! 👍
 
Does anyone know the tuition fees at UMN? They have great faq section, but could not locate this information on their website.

My stats are:
Class of 09, then Prosthodontics residency.
Part I, research internship, surgery internship, pedo internship, dental and surgeon assistant for 1.5 yrs.
Some volunteer work here and there.
Just took the Part II couple days ago.
Sent the application around June 15th.
and got the call like two weeks ago.
