I know everybody is tired from seeing posts like these, but I would really like to know what people in the similar situation as me thinks. Maybe not necessarily the same schools but still finding it hard to choose between their final two choices. Thanks people!

This is the exact situation I am in. I like UMSL for the small class size and PCO for the early clinic experience. I'm torn!
Can an UMSL student please share their experience? How are the instructors?

I don't know anything about USML, but I know quite a few who have been disappointed by the disorganization and ridiculously high prices of PCO. Early clinical experience might look good on paper, but it also takes away from academic time. PCO is very clinically focused, but academics often feel rushed and the curriculum is not cohesive. In my opinion, they don't have a good balance between the two, and their academic board scores are not up to par. The class sizes are also really big at PCO, at there are times when it seems like there is not enough individual attention or equipment for each student. Overall, look at the costs and first pass board rates of each school. There are people that like the different style at PCO, but it doesn't suit everyone, so it's something to consider.

Thank you for sharing this info!

I wonder why I don't see much about UMSL in this forum. Do they fly under the radar? Do they not have a reputation? Or is everyone who goes there just satisfied?

I've heard from unhappy PCO students, but I'd like to meet an unhappy UMSL student so that I can compare their experiences. If you know any, send them my way!

UMSL does not have a negative reputation if that is what you are asking.
