Here is the situation:

I was denied admission from UCSD after being granted one due to a D in my history class in high school, so I went to community college for two years and reapplied UCSD. BUT I got denied the admission after being granted one again by UCSD due to my GPA dropped below their requirement. I appealed it and they granted me admission for Spring instead of Fall.

so are they considered action for unaccepted academic performance?

Please HELP. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

I confus

i got his admission rescinded during High school because of a D I got in his last semester. I then went to a CC and got into UCSD again only to have my admission rescinded a second time due my drop in GPA. I appealed and got in as a Spring admit.

sorry for the misunderstanding

So whats the problem?

So what do you want us to do about it? You'd be better off staying at the CC until you get your **** straight and start getting good grades as well as build a stronger work ethic and study strategies.

So whats the problem?

the problem is: on aacomas application there is a question "Were you ever the recipient of any institutional action by any college or medical school for unacceptable academic performance or conduct violation...."

so should I say "yes" to this question with my situation?

No dear... You weren't the subject of academic action. You weren't an admitted student... it's ok... you were denied admission, that's the same thing ~50% of pre-meds go through as well... you're fine...

I would say no. Yes, if received one as a registered student. Whatever happened before that, like Obama's community service history, does not count when it matters most.

answer no... i'm pretty sure this question targets people who have been caught cheating and or plagerism... being denied acceptance to an undergrad school doesn't really fall within those lines. everyone gets denied at least once when they apply to undergrad.
