UNC??? How great is it?

This is one of my main schools that I hope to get into. I figure I might as well apply to a place where winter doesn't exist. Anyway, aside from the great college basketball down in Chapel Hill; compared to other dental schools, is the school worth the insane out of state tuition?

out of state tuition should probably be the least of your worries as an out of stater trying to go to UNC ... it's a great school, if you're lucky enough to be accepted from the other side of the border.

I think it is a great school it was one of my top choices, great facilities, nice people, and great professors (they have written a number of dental textbooks) also Chapel Hill is a nice cheap college town. As far as the out of state tuition, they are one of the few state schools that allow you to transfer residency.
