I have a quick question about course classifications on the AMCAS.

The graduate medical science department at my local medical school offers courses through the university's extension school. The courses are only applied to undergraduate biotechnology certificates. Theoretically, these courses would count toward the undergrad gpa. However, I've read stories of AMCAS messing up the classifications because of departmental issues.

Would AMCAS count these classes, despite having the Graduate Medical Science prefix on my transcript?

If they wind up on your transcript and you are an undergrad student, I'm pretty sure they'd wind up counting, even if they were only applicable to certificates and did not apply toward your degree.

Thanks. What if I decided to take them post-bacc? It should be fine right? I just don't want to take something that won't help me.
