Definitely not a disadvantage. I actually think that it helped me a little bit b/c i had a hard major and good grades. You should study what you like for the next four years. There are probably not that may classes that you will have to extra. I went back to school only for a semester and a summer to get the pre-reqs for dental school.Dr.K said:Please post your undergrad major. I am debating on taking a non-science major. Will I be at a disadvantage when the admissions committe looks at my transcript?
Dr.BadVibes said:my undergrad major was political science and other than the fact that perhaps some of my classmates with strong biology backgrounds might understand the material much faster, I dont think its much of a disadvantage....at least I spent the 4 years of undergrad doing courses that I enjoyed and not struggling in something that I wouldnt like.
Go for whatever major you feel you wanna do....dont think u have to do science
