Undergrad schools I applied to

Here's a quick background on me: 3.71/4 GPA (no weighting), all honors, have taken 3 AP Classes (AP Euro 4, AP US 4, AP Calculus AB 5) and i'm taking 4 senior year (AP PHysics B, AP Spanish, AP English, AP World History). SAT 1 score of 1380 (single: 730 verbal 650 math), and i'm 25/276 kids. top 10 percent, and i've done 100 hours or so of community service (hospital, key club, speech and debate, cross country running 1 year, cross country skiing 2 years, etc etc etc)

The colleges I applied to are (btw i live in upstate NY): SUNY Geneseo, Siena College, Union College, SUNY Binghamton, Boston College, Emory University, Gettysburg College, Ohio Wesleyan, COLGATE, Furman university, and Case Western.

Siena, Union, Binghamton, and Geneseo are my safeties, and the rest are my mediums and emory,boston college, and colgate are my hardest to get into.

Now which school would be the best to go to, money-wise and education-wise.

I don't want to get screwed at a school where everyone is so competitive that I get cut, and I don't want to pay more than 15-17k a year.

SUNY Geneseo is a very good lac, but i heard the academics and pre-med are very cutthroat, not to mention its a no-name school in general.

If i had to pick the school for the best overall package it would probably be Colgate.

I'm just worried that these past 4 years i haven't exactly had the best study habits nor work ethic. I make an effort to do well and to understand things, but i heard that the LACs are killers in gpa etc.

I want to do well in college but I don't want to work my ass off only to end up with a mediocre score.

here is my 2 cents:

i go to a top 10 LAC (According to usnews). not that rank matters but im just telling you cuz thats around how good colgate is? in terms of screwing up gpa? i think its a myth. there is no grade inflation and i dont know any classes that scale tests or final grades and the average gpa of the freshmen class is still at 3.23.

from my experiences the science courses here, which i hear to be really good but then again im hearing it from profs, arent that hard if you keep up with the work. there are a lot of biochem and bio majors here, but most of them dont end up at med school. they end up doing consulting?! only 4 kids a year out of 400 of graduating class attend med school straight out. that is super low considering how high the gpa is and how many premeds there are. however their acceptance rates are 100% for the past few years.

i feel like going to a small liberal arts school (At least mine) doesnt prep me well for med school, but it certainly helps my gpa. like for example my calc class here was just stuff that WONT HELP ME IN PHYSICS or MCATs.

whats great about a small liberal arts college is that you really get the personal attention if you want it. my friends at mit, brown, harvard are having trouble right now getting recommendations for internships because their TA's dont even know their names! so for your crappy prep youll get for MCAT's youll get a really stellar personal recommendation if you are socialable at all.

if i can apply to colleges all over again id hit up:
boston college, harvard, nyu (heard there is scaling as long as you arent an idiot youd prob get scaled to at least a B+), usma (dont go there unless you are a military person), williams, brown (check it out its a fun school. i got in and i had around the same scores and grades you did, but they gave me no financial aid), and dartmouth (FOR A SMALL LIBERAL ARTS SCHOOL WITH AN IVY NAME)
