  1. Pre-Dental
i attend sonoma state university and now i will transfer in my sophomore year i have a high GPA and i will apply to CSULB ,CAL poly SAN OBISO, SDSU and CSU FULLERTON i want to take your opinion which one can make me ready more to attend a dental school and be able to have at least 20 in all DAT part's i know that a lot says undergraduate doesn't matter but that's wrong it matter as the advisor of your college will guide you to dental school but at SSU(my undergraduate now) it was suck she haven't any idea about attending dental school and their wasn't a lot of opportunities for shadowing or volunteering hope you guys share with me your opinions
Thanks

Any of those you've listed are sufficient. After you transfer, the GPA you obtain at whichever school you plan to attend will be the most important. You don't really need an advisor, there is plenty of info on the internet, here and also the ADEA official guide.

i know that but can you explain to be what do you mean by sufficient ?! and i already used ADEA official guide for dental school and SDN forums but the extracurricular activities in my school are rare (pre dental club and almost few members and no volunteering)

You should plan on having both shadowing and volunteering experience. You'll have to seek out dentists to shadow on your own. That's the way it typically goes.

By the way, you should not limit your extracurricular activities to merely what is available at your school. You can get involved in activities through the community which will count as extracurriculars--volunteering/community service, musical ensembles, joining a team of some sort, or joining a community organization. It's not that hard to get involved, even if there is not much going on at your school. Seek out extracurriculars you believe in and start getting involved with them. There are lots of ways to get involved. I'm sure there will be even more ways once you transfer to a university campus, but even if there aren't there are still ways to get involved with the community. For example, you could become involved as a mentor through an organization such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters or you could join a community chorus or you could volunteer at a food pantry or you could tutor people in subjects you're good at either through your university or through an outside organization. The opportunities for getting involved in something are limitless!

It matters less where you go but rather how well you do while you're there. If you transfer to any of those, you will be at a larger school and a larger city (other than maybe SLO) so you should have more opportunities than where you are now. You said you have a high GPA, that is great, keep it up. Study for the DAT, do well and those 2 alone will open up many doors. Also, you don't necessarily need to do activities through your school, there are/will be plenty of volunteering, service and shadowing opportunities outside of school after you transfer.

yeah i know all of that i am still confusing about CAL POLY as it's very famous about engineer department don't know a lot about their science department but it's still the best CSU campus from the 23

Try to get into SDSU. There are a lot of volunteering opportunities in San Diego
