im in the military and have a 6 month old . im planning on starting college asap, so that by the time i get out of the military ill have a bunch of my basic courses already knocked out. the thing is i have to do my schooling online, because 1 of the military and 2 because of my daughter. would it look bad if i graduated with a BA from an online college when applying to dental school?

Yes it probably would. Plus, a lot of the pre-reqs for D school require labs so you cannot do it all online.

I would say that you should check with the schools to which you are planning to apply. I'd venture to say that most wouldn't recognize online courses.

yea i figured it wouldnt look good. i guess ill just have to wait till im out of the military to go back to school! sucks, because im so eager to start already.

You dont have to wait. What I did when I started was go to a community college for my basics (Save the hard classes like sciences for a university) and do them online. Then the courses are with an actual college and not just an online college. I did most of my basics online then transferred. PM me for more info or any help you need getting started.
