Do undergradate classes in psychology help for getting into psychiatry programs after med school? I have heard that they do not help for getting into med schools in general, but I read on this board that people who have PhDs or MD's in psychology have some advantage for getting into psychiatry programs.

any insight into this? Thanks in advance.
