understanding CBSE scores

I have a few questions about my CBSE score. I understand the double digit score is relative to a three digit step 1 score. Is the two digit score itself a percentile? as in a 65 = 65 percentile?

No. It's just like the Step 1 two digit score. It's a two digit scaled score. You can't figure out your percentile from the CBSE reports. You can guess your percentile based on the Step 1 score, but it's an inexact science.

apparently this compiles the 2008-2011 scores so I imagine it's pretty darn close to 2013
