I just registered for it...
So far I've received a book, the lecture videos, and a syllabus. From what I understand, I have the next 13 weeks to read, watch videos, and take the practice tests (which aren't graded-they're just used to see how well you're learning the material) and then I have to go to UNE on feb 15 to take the final, which is what determines your grade. Yikes! The material deals with human metabolism/biochem, so it seems like it should be interesting and not too difficult, i.e. no photosynthesis/plant biochem, and the professor says the average grade is a B.
I called a number of other schools to see if they would accept a distance learning class, and it was about 50/50, so if you're also applying allopathic, you may want to check with each school to see if they'll accept it.
It was $900. You can find out more on the UNE website.
