I am looking for a place to take my pre reqs, but I am not sure how taking them online would affect my admissions into a dental school? They offer a lab online as well, though I was thinking that was definitely a no go. Does anyone have any experience with this or know anyone that was still admitted with these online science pre reqs?

Generally, online or distance learning courses are not acceptable if it is a pre-requisite course. The best way is to either check their website, if it's not discussed on there then I would suggest calling the school and asking them.

I have a friend who took some pre-reqs from UNE, @mariobrosdoctor is right.. it doesn't show on your transcript as "online" just shows it as a regular course. My friend said it was pretty easy.. you just have to stay on top of things obviously. The lab is all virtual just mainly dragging and dropping stuff into the beakers and stuff...

If you like to self-teach this might be a program for you. I would not take them at UNE. I had a horrible experience.
1. The teacher didn't teach or answer questions she would refer me back to the book
2. You will need to pay for a tutor
3. Read the book answer questions then take a quiz (class structure)
4. The teacher would post a video but then tell you that you can ignore half of it.
5. the lab program was a joke.

Don't waste your time or money.

I don't mind teaching myself. I am taking microbiology as some school requires it as pre-requisites and my school doesn't offer it during the spring semester. What class did you take by the way?
