Okay so I have received two acceptances from LECOM-E & KCUMB so far in the cycle. but heres the downside: i got my mcat score back yesterday and went down a point.
my three scores with breakdowns are as follows:

7/16/2010: 9 BS, 9 PS, 4 VR, 22Q
1/29/2011: 8 BS, 10 PS, 6 VR, 24O
9/02/2011: 10 BS, 7 PS, 6 VR, 23Q

a.) can they revoke my two acceptances since I went down? I already got the official letter and even placed my deposits down. I know you are required to disclose all the scores to AACOMAS.
b.) I am from CHicago and CCOM is my first choice. I called them today. they say take the best set. do I have a chance? GPA is a 3.76, sGPA is a 3.70, outstanding LOR's. Just this MCAT. I thought I did better this time around specially in PS cuz it was all gen chem which is my strong subject, but I guess life just sucks immensely sometimes. Do you guys think they might see okay "she got 10 in PS last time and got a 7 this time, so this 7 might be a fluke cuz I got a 9 and then a 10, so clearly I am capable of getting a high score in PS. I really dont know how I could have gotten three points from last time. Thats just huge. Maybe I should get it rescored?
C.) I am definitely not filling out my MD secondaries. I am asian Indian and have no chances whatsoever. Do I have to officially withdraw my amcas only if I had filled out secondaries or regardless? How does it work?

Thanks everyone! I am really worried now and am so mad at myself for taking it again. I would have been better off with the 24. I was getting 27-28 on aamc's and did EK VR 101 passages too, but in life you dont always get what you want. I am just praying now that somehow my some miracle either CCOM or DMU accept me, even though I know their MCAT averages are quite high. 🙁

I really doubt you'll have your acceptances revoked by LECOM or KCUMB. I wouldn't worry about CCOM... if you get in, great! If your new MCAT hurt you, so be it. You're going go to a great DO school either way.

I would probably withdraw your AMCAS app. Seems like you'd be spending money for no reason, especially since you are already accepted to two excellent medical schools. Good work and congratulations (but don't even think about retaking the MCAT.)

Good advice. I also don't think it will hurt your acceptances at LECOM and KCUMB. I was first going to suggest that you call the admissions office and find out for sure, but after thinking about it I think that you should leave it alone. They will probably call YOU if it comes an issue. Although, I'm very sure it will not.

Your GPA is pretty solid man. That MCAT might be holding you back but I think you may still have a shot at CCOM. You already filled out the supplemental right? If so, just sit tight and wait... and be content you have acceptances!

Not sure if the whole asian indian thing is relevant at all to your MD stuff. Our race is definitley not an under represented minority in healthcare, that's for sure.

thanks so much guys! That makes me feel better! ILikeToytles...I love ur alias. so unique lol. anywhoos, sorry I forget to tell you what I thought of the area around KCUMB. I know I promised lol. but I LOVED THE CAMPUS. and the school is great. The surrounding area is somewhat dangerous, but security is very tight. They are security cars parked around campus. If you need to walk across the street to century towers alone at any time, just call them up and they will escort you. But its a great school and I think it would be dumb not to go there just because of the surrounding areas.

LOL I know I know. ILikeToytles..I noticed you got an interview at DMU? what is ur GPA and MCAT if you dont mind me asking? and yes, for MWU my supplemental and LOR's are all sent and I just sent my score to AACOMAS this morning 🙂

sGPA - 3.80
cGPA - 3.50
MCAT - 27N

I have my KCUMB interview in 2 weeks. Hopefully by then I'll get some good news back from DMU. :xf:

All your mcats are within a point of each other -- most likely you weren't admitted on your mcat. The schools must have saw other aspects in your app to select you. Good luck with making a choice.
