Technology Unique, creative, even strange video games!

I was sitting here pondering over a certain game coming out in a few days for the PSP, Patapon 3, and I suddenly wondered if anyone else out there was playing or even interested in games like this, games that are quite unique or free from the typical genres of the gaming world. So without further ado, I'll post a few video links of some games I've played or plan to play that I felt fit this thread's title.

Katamari Forever (not the first iteration (Katamari Damacy), just the most aesthetic IMO):

Patapon 3 (the third game, coming out soon, you tap 4 different buttons in a ongoing rhythm thing, controlling your little troop of soldiers as they chant and march along toward battle):
