Hi

I checked my status online on Univ of Pacific website
and it said that my reference letters are not recieved.

When I checked my status on AADSAS, it said that my reference letters are sent to each dental school on June 16th.

Does somebody have the same situation like me?

Do most schools have "online status checkers"? So that students know when their application is complete and on file at each of their prospective schools.

If anybody knows any schools that have this please let me know. Thanks!

yeah mine says the same thing too. from reading old posts, i am assuming it's just normal thing since they just received our hard copies and it might take them awhile for them to update everything

and for the other questions, i am not sure which schools have this system but out of schools i have applied i think UoP is the only one so far

you'll find out whether they have this system once they send you follow up letter after receiving your application

My status is the same. If you read their codes it tells you to allow like 4-6 weeks for them to input your letters. Then like 4-6 more until they get your app reviewed. I wouldn't freak about it they don't start giving invites til August.

I got a mail from UOP today and it says they received my app fee which activates my admissions file. So I went to UOP website to check my status, it keeps saying invalid last name or AADSAS#. I am not in panic, but just wondering. Should I give more time to them to update my file or what?

On the day I recieved the mail, I couldn't log in.
But after 1 day, I could log in.

I too received the letter activating my file, but no where does it tell you where to go to check your status with the school online. Can someone provide me with the website? Thanks.

I have the same problem and I received my letter about two weeks ago.

UoP does not update their status checker every day, in fact it is closer to once or twice a month, if I recall correctly. If you can't log in or don't see up-to-the-minute status updates, don't freak out. Mine didn't tell me I was invited for an interview until about a week after I scheduled it.

Yea my status tracker for UoP is a little sketchy. Whatever was listed (I can't remember now) wasn't one of the phrases the website had. Either way, the letter I got from them said my app was complete and ready to be looked at.

Lemoncurry is right that they don't update everyday, but I'd say way less than once or twice a month. If i were you I wouldn't rely on the online statuses at all, and if you REALLY had to know call the school up. The admission staff is really helpful at UoP!
