Hi, i am a medical student currently studying at Universidad Austral in Argentina. i would like to what are my chances of getting into a USA residency. take into account that i have very good grades, i am the best in my class, and i am planning to have a international change to UPENN for 5 months to have clinical knowledge on the USA and also ask for some LOR. i am just scared because my University is not very well known and doesn't have a big name like other universities. so what are my chances? any advice would be very useful right now

You probably should move this post to the Residents Forum! Posts her deal with undergrads looking to go to med school! Be sure to expand your post and include more info like what year are you in, when will you be applying, have you taken the USMLEs, what residency are you interested in etc..
