University of Arizona C/O 2027 Hopefuls

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I have a feeling once they get to a number they still pick and choose because I’m pretty sure I should’ve been called according to numbers here. We should be long past 12 people since 4/22. If I was actually 12, I’m sure I would’ve been called by now.

Are you in state or out. I know they have a list for each. As far as I know oos is moving but IS has not

If an out of state student gives up their seat, they fill it with an out of state student from the waitlist, same for in state. So most movement is from OOS students not in state. It is up to 43 or 44 on the OOS wait-list, but I think only like 4 or 5 on the IS wait-list. And that is due to in state usually being the cheapest option for most students to get a vet degree as well as not as high of a cost for moving for school (among other factors). The OOS wait-list has 75 people on it.

Yeah I started at 4 for IS when the seats filled. There was no movement at all when I check 2 weeks ago and I’m still 4

It also depends on when you checked your status. They slowly count down as people come off the wait-list, so if you checked later than others you might have been told 12 but that was not your original position.

Like I said, I was 12 on 4/22 and there have been more than 12 OOS acceptance comments here since then.

You can always email them and see if something happened? They are super nice and definitely are worth reaching out to. I would say SDN is not the end all be all of the admissions decisions and should be taken as a good place for an idea of what is happening, not fact.

They send a questionnaire asking if I wanted to still be on the waitlist and I said no since I got into LSU. No more broken hearts! Good luck everyone!! Never give up on your dreams…it took me almost 10 years and 2 MS degrees. This old lady finally got in.
