i didn't take a&p or biochem in undergrad either. it would have been nice to have a background in it before pharmacy school but you should be fine. everybody has their own style of learning and studying. for me, i like to read undergrad textbooks because they "dummy" the material down before you really jump into it. some people never touch their textbooks and some never even go to class! my 1st semester, i always studied in groups and it didn't work for me so i refuse to study with other people now.

i think you'll find what suits you best when you get started.
i'm from houston and went to UH for undergrad so i may be biased but i think it's a great school. i don't know how other pharmacy schools are but we bring in a lot of clinical people to lecture in their area of expertise rather than having someone teach out of a textbook. and i also feel like they are producing good pharmacists. not just pharmacists that are knowledgable but pharmacists that really care about their patients.
i'm sure one of the top complaints you'll hear is the horrendous parking. as 1st years, you'll be having classes in the afternoon and it sucks. then as 2nd years, you'll be having classes in the morning, which sucks, but you'll have no problem with parking. it's a trade off i guess.
🙂
no, i don't think i'll ever be ready for the "work world". haha. i feel like i know a great deal for school and testing purposes, but i'm really scared of going on rotations in one year.
ok, have to go study for finals! ahhh.
