Please i need urgent help for application. where do i submit personal statement? Last year when i applied to university of Chicago, i submitted my SOP in the online supplemental application. But this time i have not seen that when i filled the online supplemental application. Did they change the format of online application? I mean do we have to submit SOP through CAAPID? I didn't even see that in the supplementary application requirement which we need to send in package.

did anyone filled SOP through online supplemental application? Please help. i don't have too much time. Thanks in advance.

hi all, i need some sincere advice...hope u guys can help.. i have taken pt 2 result isnt here yet, i was originally thinking of appliyng to uIC but my toefl is dated march 2010, their website states they will only accept may 2010 onwards! so ill need to tak tofl again..secondly, they said to apply earlier, i havent started CAAPID application yet, n i dont know if they will give due consideration to my application if apply near the dead line! coz i feel this is a BIG factor considering i do not have exceptioal qualifications like MS etc, n have only observership/DA experience 9 months...do u guys think i should apply or not, i know some would say there is no harm in trying , but money is an issue for me too.

hi aims i think u shud reserve ur date for toefl asap and side by side u shud apply to caapid,they ll accept ur old toefl and then apply to UIC from caapid and send ur online application and then submit ur documents till end of june ,if u r lucky enough u might get ur toefl results by then otherwise send ur documents and send toefl score directly to UIC (most likely they ll accept it) and u can update caapid at any time....hope it help u

No..upload SOP on CAAPID..u dont need SOP in supplemental application..

I got the same thing in email ..

and I was worried because I got nothing from them later ..

So I asked my friend about that ,, she told me Braulia told her they are not going to send IV till July !!!!!!! strange !!

anyone got anything from UIC so far??????????

I heard that they will be sending IV letters starting in July ...

Met Ms braulia at UIC today and she is a very helpful lady for sure....gave me a good insight on the whole process. The interviews will start happening in July until oct-November. They have received a lot of applications already and in the process of sorting it out... They have received some great applications , so its gonna be very competitive.

A bummer that I cant apply this year since my NDB1 scores are old...I have been adviced to write Part 2 for a better chance next year. 🙁( so, i am at it right now...... anyone with MS experience or hygienist course have good chances.....the interviews are one on one ..mostly about equipment identification and patient case n treatment discussions.......

I guess I have loads of heardwork ahead of me 🙁(

Also, last year I applied like within 5 days of application opening (earliest as possible), but since there were some documents missing, my application could not be completed. I kept calling them to know what was missing, but found out only near the end of the deadline, which was ofcourse too late. I am very confused what to do! Apply now or not apply. I do not know how do they perceive re-applicants? Also, with your info, I am further more confused:0

From my conversation with her I gatherred that they wont be very interested in lookign at more application since they have already received some 100 or more.....I was in the same situation where I thought i could meet the deadline (taking TOEFL) tomorrow but she totally discouraged me from it....she said that TOEFL scores wont be here in time and they have enough applications in place....
If you have preciously applied into this program and want to re apply- they do not count the old app against you.

some 100 applications received - will interview about 80% and offers made to 50% ...will be sending out interview letter by end of June for interviews to commence from July until Oct/Nov.

you have a good shot if you have good scores, good resume and any education (MS/hygene ) is definitely a plus !!!

In my online application 3rd box is "Requirements" and its completed but 4th 'additional program requirements' is not yet updated. Though I got an E-mail saying my application is complete.

I think you have better chance as you have good part 1 score & GPA as well..If you have given part 2 little earlier like in june then you have much better chance..but never mind..we all are in same race..anyway they will send IV letters in the end of this month or 1st week of july..!!..
