I have an interview date on Monday 11-21-16 at the University of Iowa. This is a big ask, but... I'm hoping SDN can help me save on travel costs and also help me learn more about the city surrounding the medical school. Is there anyone here that would be willing to let me house at their place from Saturday 11-19-16 until Tuesday 11-22-16? If so, great! I would be more than willing to video conference with anyone well before the interview date.

I don't live in Iowa, but they have a student host program for free! I'm not sure if you could stay quite that long with them, but 1 or 2 nights for sure. There should be a link in the interview invite email.

Yea. Use the host program. It's free! I stayed out there for an entire week for $0.
