University of Louisville Class of 2027 Interview/Acceptance Thread

Anyone know the post-interview acceptance rate?
They don't disclose how many were interviewed for the class of 2024 on the ADEA guide.

However, they accepted 51 IS applicants out of 115, and 245 OOS applicants out of 1868.

Hope this helps!

Anyone have any tips for the in person interview? and overall experience
For me, at least, it was a great experience. I might be biased (as I am currently a UofL undergrad student), but the way that it was set up was very comforting and minimally stressful. In relation to tips for the interview, just make sure to be yourself and answer as genuinely as possible. Also, make sure (although I believe this is a given) that you know your personal statement very well. It is a one-on-one style, and it was not intimidating at all and ended up becoming a casual conversation after a few questions. Hope this helps!

Does that form affect changes of getting accepted? Of the classes aren’t required by Louisville.

I think they said it depends on the class because if it’s a class they feel will be beneficial for dental school they will want you to take it

Yes. They explained it in the presentation and the thank you email after the interview how it can affect it. Even if it’s a not a required class for them

I remember hearing they most likely aren’t doing calls this year.

Guess we will find out soon, haha! This anticipation is a nightmare.

Oh wow! At my interview they didn't mention that, but thank you for clarifying!

Yeah, I’m not 100% sure but they mentioned how they might do away with it this year or in the coming years because they’re getting older and more tired lol. Hopefully they still do it!

Congratulations :) I missed the phone call and I was left a voice message that stated to check my email for updates. I wish I did not miss that call 😟.
Thank you! Congratulations to you, too! I’m sure they understand that not everyone can answer on a weekday 😊
