University of Louisville vs. University of Kentucky

I really liked both of these programs and am having a hard time deciding which one to rank higher. Any thoughts or advice in terms of resident happiness, work hours, patient diversity, clinical training, etc? Thanks!

Hi - Interviewed at both places and really liked them as well. Both programs have really friendly and nice residents. However, I would pick Louisville over UK based on the strenght of fellowship placement rate. Also Louisville appears to be a bit more research oriented than UK, and allows u to partake in research electives during ur intern, which is real plus if u need to improve ur research credentials b4 applying 4 a fellowship. The IM board pass rate (averaged over three years) is 97% at Kentucky but only 85% at Louisville.
