So I applied to this school last time, gave an interview, and now they said the application is on hold. I have been waiting for some and just wonder how much of a chance do I have in getting in? Or should i call them again?

Yea last time I applied and called recently and that's what they (University of Midwestern, Illinois)

From last cycle? Are you waiting to maybe come off the list and now you're suddenly on hold? Did they say why when you called at all?

K guys, so I applied last year to this school. Then they called me for an interview; I gave it. After that, I didn't receive anything so I called them, and they told me that my application is put on hold and I can get in only if like someone drops out or goes away.

Sounds like you are on the wait list but at this point it is unlikely that anything will happen and need to reapply this cycle if you haven't already.

Yeah I guess the person I talked with said that I might call tomorrow to check, If I should at all.And I already applied agin in June. I have a 3.6 GPA, and an AA on the DAT of 18

Maybe if you stop calling them the University of Midwestern

I can call them by their if I want, I asked for help not arrogance

Sorry my bad, didn't mean to sound harsh or create drama

I don't understand the point of this post...if you have already interviewed why do you expect anyone HERE to know what percent you have of getting off the waitlist? And....it's Midwestern University.

Clearly, you are not the owner of this forum. So don't tell me if my post is right or wrong, And I never asked for a percent, get your facts right, that's embarrassing.

Calm down man. There is no reason to get angry.

Are you still on the wait list from the last cycle for the class that's about to start at the end of August? Based on your attitude, unprofessionalism and incomplete sentences I say :troll:

Yes I am, and you can't judge someone completely by their apperiance on a forum, clearly making you the troll.

Sorry I can't grow on command, but how would you know.

He's just saying the way you react is very troll like. Seriously, take a chill pill. There's no reason to get pissed when people are just trying to help.

university of midwestern...

is this real life?

also OP, considering school is about to start soon..you pretty much have to bank on someone having some srs doubts about dental school. i'm pretty sure most people signed for their loans by now..

I will try to take from this somewhat understandable post that you are saying:

You interviewed with MIDWESTERN UNIVERSITY (you can't pick and choose what you call a university.... For example, University of Columbia is not the same as Columbia University). (also, you are not giving the interview in this situation).

Then you are saying that they never notified you of an acceptance... But, you were recently told that you are on the wait list and that IFFFFF someone were to drop, they would notify you?

Chances are... You will not be going to dental school next year.

But try giving them a call, you never know if a spot will open up.
