how far in advance would you even know about the interview? just a couple days?

May I ask what your stats are, and volunteering/experiences in general?

Hey sorry for the late reply, I already accepted my offer for my instate school so I rejected the interview. But I had a 20 AA/TS and nothing was below a 20 except bio 18. 3.8 gpa. I had a solid 200 hrs of shadowing , lots of volunteer/community service work more than 500 hrs, and I was in 3 clubs at school including the pre dental one.

At my interview they told us 2-3 weeks from the day of the interview is the minimum to hear anything. Sounded like it could be longer too.

I had seen in a previous UMN year acceptance thread that they form their waitlist relatively small, but wanted to see if that was still the case. UMN was the only place I interviewed for this cycle for dental school, otherwise it's off to a postbacc program-I'm trying to hang in there!

I'm not sure how large the waitlist is but if it helps, I was an international student and declined my acceptance just today. So there is movement even if you aren't in state for them!
