Hey everyone,

I was offered an interview for USA and was wondering if anyone had insight on possible interview questions. I also noticed on other forums on here that there is an essay along with the interview. I didn't see anything mentioning an essay in the email offering me the interview. Is there always an essay? I'm not worried about having to write one, but I don't want to be surprised with one.

Firstly, Congrats! 🙂 May I ask what campus and what date?

I was offered an interview on 2/12 with San Marcos campus, and just wanted to see who else is going to be there. From reading things on this forum, the essay is no longer a part of the interview! Hope that helps.

Thanks! Same to you! My interview is in St. Augustine on 2/26. I wonder why they removed the essay. Like I said, its not a big deal to me if I have to write an essay, I just didn't see it mentioned in the e-mail and I wanted to be prepared for one if need be.

Do you guys know if they are done notifying applicants for the interviews? When did you guys receive your email for the interview?

I received my email offering the interview on January 22nd

I just received my e-mail invitation for the 26th in St. Augustine as well!
Have you found out any information on questions being asked?
Also, does anyone have any input on who will be doing the interviews?
 
When did y'all have your application submitted by? Just curious if those that had everything in early would be looked at first. Unfortunately my application took longer than expected with multiple errors on their end and unable to reach them.

My application was in by the due date of December 15th.
But, I feel fairly confident that they continue to look especially since some students are still in the process of completing courses and whatnot.

I submitted my application Dec 8th with the Dec 15th Deadline. I have emailed Colleen Lyons multiple times and she continues to tell me they are still in the process of notifying applicants. Not sure what is taking so long. 🙁 getting nervous
 
Has anyone received an interview invitation for the Miami Campus ?
 
I was invited for an interview at the St. Augustine- San Marcos campus set for March 18th. For those who had the interview in February, what was the interview process like and what kind of questions did they ask? Was there an essay component like in previous years? Thanks !!

I was accepted to the DPT program for Fall 2016 at the St. Augustine location! Did anyone create a facebook page?

I haven't looked yet but I know other campuses already had students creating.
I will check in a bit but if I don't see one I'll create one!

I'm not sure if all campus' are the same but I just had an interview at the San Marcos campus on April 9th. There were 12 of us that day and they divided us into 2 groups of 6. For our group they asked us:

- Tell us about yourself.
- A negative experience you had during your time as a volunteer/aide
- They gave us a scenario in which half of us got an A on a recent exam and the other half got a C. They then asked each half if/how they would approach the other half to give/ask for help
- Qualities you think are important for a PT (this was a question that was given to the other group)

They all seem to be behavioral questions. If you read through the other St. Augustine threads, other people have shared questions they've been asked.

Hey thanks so much for getting back to me! One last questions since your interview was so recent I figured I would ask you..did you have to write an essay for your interview as well? Thanks again!

We did not have an essay. From what i've read on other St. Augustine threads, the essay was taken out of the interview process for all schools.
