University of St Augustine wait-list question

Hi all,
Not sure where to post this... Does anyone happen to know if St Augustine allows you to defer your admission? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

HanbongDPT - "I confirmed the policy with Laina Derringer while I was there for the interview.

She told me it's a really good thing to be put on the waitlist cause you're in but just might be couple months later. As opposed to other schools if you're on the waitlist, you might not get in and have to apply again. She informed me you won't have to apply again or interview again, you would just have to wait couple months for the next term/semester."

Are you positive that if you are not able to gain entry to the term you applied for, it basically guarantees entry to the following term? There seems to be conflicting views on what it means to be on USA's Alt list.

I agree! First I hear that youre automatically accepted if you dont get in the term you applied to. Then I hear that isnt the case! Makes you go crazy ha

I was just notified I am waitlisted number 10 for May 2011 term. I am extremely dissapointed and keep seeing different things about being wait-listed on here. Does anyone know what really happens when you are that far down the wait-list? If anyone has been through this or knows the correct information please share!! Thanks!
