I recently discovered that this school does not participate in the federal student loan program, therefore you cannot get Stafford loans. Does anyone know why or if they are going to be able to accept federal loans at some point in the future? If accepted or attending, how would/do you finance your education?

The reason it doesn't participate in federal aide is because it is a small private school and they are unable to get federal aide, although they are trying to get it. They have been working with FASFA for a while and keep telling everyone they will hopefully have it soon.

i was recently there for an interview, and they told us that they had been approved for federal funding and it should be available for the fall 2009 class. now i know they have said that it has been in the works for a long time, and i work with a therapist who said they said it was in the works when she went there 3 years ago.... soo... i guess we will see if they mean it this time!

Hi guys,
I was filling out my FAFSA yesterday and it turns out that USA already has a code, IDK if this is old news or if it has something to do with what they said the day of the interview (that they were approved for funding).

Are you going for May or Fall in san diego??..i Just talked to mary noore on friday and she said for sure by fall..but very likely even before that?..so keep our fingers crossed..i am going in to talk to the people at sallie mae on tuesday for a private loan..its a difficult process from what i hear but if you have good credit it is not so bad..or a co-signer!..i start in May so i am definetly worried!!
