I recently interviewed at these two programs -- I went in not expecting to like either but came out feeling fairly positive about them. i dont know anyone in either of the programs and was hoping that someone on this listserve might either be in the programs, know someone who is a current resident, or just have insight the gained on the interview trail...

Particularly with the UW, I'd heard that it was a fairly malignant program -- this coupled with the fact that no medical students from the medical school applied / matriculated to the program seems like a red flag to me...

Columbia had no review at the scut site....

Anyhow -- any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I can't help you, but hey, what do you think about the HIV teaching/service at Columbia? How is it structured? Just curious.
