It depends on your interviewers. Since this is an open filed interview, they will have a chance to review your application beforehand. Some do more than others. Just know what you wrote on your application.
During my interview, they asked me specific questions concerning my application.

Just got the call from Kathy! So pumped! Top choice. I'll be seeing all of you guys in August!

I am also happy to see baseball fans will be in the class! 🙂 I am a Cubs fan, although I do like to go to M's games. I will be there for the three-game set with the Cubs in June.

Thanks for the 'grats. Sounds good on the dinner - great idea! ...just joined the facebook group as well . I live on Bainbridge Island, so I am close. My wife and I will move across the water sometime before school starts.

Probably not since it's a pre-rec. If you're already accepted, I would call Kathy and ask. If not already accepted, then definitely don't P/F it...
 
anybody else here that interviewed feb 8? I know it's only been two weeks but I'm dying here waiting considering that 2 people who interviewed on the Feb 1st got called already..
 
So.. from perusing predents from past years, it looks like most rejections and waitlists start in march - which is next week. =\ What a downer.
 
I did. They're making final decisions now (don't know if that meant this last week was or next week will be..?) and in the next few weeks we should be getting official letters. She should have just said rejection letters. I don't know why they had to keep me waiting for sooo long if they're just going to reject me. ohhh well.

I couldn't agree with you more. I called Kathy a week ago and asked if they were still considering me. When I told her I interviewed in October and hadn't heard anything since. She said, "Wow, you've been waiting a really long time." So yeah, I'm in the same boat with you, rider. Still hoping for the best for both of us though! Hang tough!
 
I received a call from Kathy today as well! I interviewed on 2/22. I'm really excited as UW is my #1 school. Yay!! 😀

Is it safe to state that the UW has pretty much a complete class and is done handing out interviews?

I got an email from Kathy today. She told me that they will be completing the waitlist early next week.
 
Did she say how people would be notified if they were waitlisted? Mail, phone, email?
 
that waitlist thing is gonna keep me up at night this weekend.
 
good luck pinetar - I called kathy today and she told me they weren't able to offer me a position. soo, that sucks. I guess they already know the names of those that would be waitlisted because I only mentioned my first name as in "Hi, this is ___" and asked and she immediately replied with the rejection. I wish you the best in getting on that waitlist! I almost wish I hadn't called so I could still have that hope... oh well. curiosity. =(
 
Has anyone received a rejection or waitlist invitation yet? I don't know whether I should be avoiding my mailbox or my email... I'm tempted to give Kathy a call, I know it must suck to hear it but at least the waiting would be over.

Rejection is via mail I believe. I'm expecting it in the next few days. =(
 
I got a call from Kathy today asking me if I got a waitlist letter in the mail already. I told her no and she then told me I was #1 on the waitlist and someone just withdrew their offer so I'm taking their place!! I'm 😀😀😀 right now! So for everyone on the waitlist, expect a letter in the mail soon!
 
cool. I've received no letters. although i'm expecting a rejection, I'm not accepting the fact until I have an official letter. haha.
 
Does anyone know how the waitlist works? I understand the basics but I was wondering if anyone was told where they were ranked?
