Did anyone else apply to La Crosse? I don't know much about the school and applied on a whim. Just wondering if anyone could share anything about this school! Thanks 🙂

I want to apply, if the deadline hasn't passed yet. I feel like its in the middle of nowhere though. Which is alright, not used to secluded, rural areas. Not really sure what kind of area it is, I live in Illinois. Hope I Have a chance there because its non OTCAS and my gpa is a bit higher on my uic transcript rather than OTCAS.
 
The application deadline has not passed yet so you definitely still have time! I'm wondering how they will determine acceptances since they say they are looking for well rounded students and don't require any OT shadowing. It will be interesting to find out more, do you know much about the program? Good luck!!
 
I applied here too and don't know much about the program.
 
I had emailed Peter with a few question regarding the program and the response I received was semi snappy and unwelcoming. Other programs I've talked to are very willing to answer questions and say something along the lines of thanks for your interest in our program and I didn't receive as friendly of a response from La Crosse (which gave me a bad impression). What are your stats if you don't mind sharing? This is my first year applying and I'm pretty worried about getting in somewhere 🙁
 
I received a rejection email from them on February 22nd. In the letter it said that there were 176 applicants, 26 seats available, average cum GPA was 3.73 and average pre-req GPA was 3.82. Hope this helps!
 
The stats from lacrosse is quite high. I got wait listed 🙁
 
@OTseeker I was waitlisted as well. I was thankful they let us know what number we are though! Have you heard anything from them since you have been waitlisted?

They said in the attachment to contact them after the 10th (which is today). I will get in touch with Peter tomorrow.
 
Contacted Peter today but unfortunately I'm still on the wait list. Hopefully you had better luck otot456
 
It's my first choice too but I probably go somewhere else.
