no i didn't call friday -- i will see monday. Did you call and check??
@spud daddy -- ya my DAT scores got delayed because they only sent my old DAT scores to schools n "forgot" to send the new ones too. So to make sure that was cleared and all it got delayed 1 month 🙁
I called and asked about acceptances and the lady sounded like she wasn't expecting any calls and just said she doesn't see my name. So I'm hoping for some reason they just didn't turn in the list yet and maybe I got in. I know it's a long shot but who knows.
theres no way their meeting on the 23rd since they just completed the last batch of interviews on the 25th.

I think it is snail mail but I interviewed the 18th and I had a friend who interviewed the 25th which was the last one. I probably wouldn't expect anything till the middle of this month to be honest.
I called again today and they said that they did meet last week however all the spots are full. They will meet again in April and see how many people have withdrawn and send out more acceptances depending on that number. They said that if you were rejected you would have gotten an email so if you haven't thats a good thing. Good luck!
Yes, they are full but Vicky said that they have anywhere from 5-15 people who withdraw and end up going to different schools every year which is why they will re-convene in April to decide how many more acceptances to hand out. So there is still a small glimmer of hope.
I called yesterday too. Gail just said they haven't made any decisions yet and that there are still spots open since the second batch were sent. I also heard the same thing that navneet heard too. They haven't made the selections and wanted to wait until all of the interviews are done. Kinda sux to hear that from her, I made it pretty obvious to Gail too.... 
the last interview was feb 25th. The admissions director is out of the office until the end of march, so we won't hear anything until then. According to vicki, there are still 8-10 spots to fill in the class, and this doesn't include any people who will potentially drop, those will be additional spots open. I am pretty sure that as of right now there are 12 people on the waitlist so hopefully all those people will get in. They also said that they were going to make acceptances after the feb 11 and 18 interviews but they didn't think it would be fair to the feb 25 interview session, hence the waitlist. now we have to wait probably until the first week in april.

You aren't the only one who's going crazy in their head. I've been waitin everyday for the update on March 1st only to be sorely disappointed :\. And now we gotta wait for the first week of April. When'd you call?
i called again yesterday, the class is at 73 right now, one person has dropped so far but they are expecting more to drop

Good luck to everyone that's waiting! Another thing that you may not know is that UNLV will likely try to get a starting class of 80 (they have 80 operatories/pre-clinic benches etc.). So in addition to whoever withdraws their acceptance, they'll be accepting more than the 72 people that are already on board. Rumor has it that the adcom is waiting until the 1st years (my class) finish finals before accepting the full 80. Hang in there! I know how it is!
I emailed Dr. Ancajas and she said that they may wait until after June until they accept more people. June 1st is the date that they force people to reveal if they are holding multiple spots and they give them 10 days to choose one school. Good luck everyone!

I have no idea when unlv decisions, etc will be made but I thought that May 1 was the date that schools find out if you're holding multiple spots. At least, that's what it was last year I think...
oh. my. gravy. I just checked in today at the admissions. Vick said there is still inactivity on the acceptances part. There were more declines sent out, but for any positive news.... we'll have to wait 2-4 weeks, into mid-may, and mandatory by June 1st. Seats are already at 72. I hope those that decide not to go to UNLV kindly retract their seat for those that truly do want to go to UNLV. Let's hope for the best everyone!
When you say there were more declines sent out, do you mean rejections for those who were interviewed or people withdrawing after an interview but not accepted?
Both of them. They're waiting for more ppl that accepted to turn down their acceptances to open up more spaces. I hope there's more
So there were actually people who interviewed in the spring and received rejections from the school? At least that's partially good news for those fortunate enough not to receive a rejection..knowing they are still considering you. Thanks for the info and passing it along on sdn, the little things help.
K so I just called the office, and they told me the class is full and we have to wait till May to see if anyone drops. Ahhh, they keep telling people different stories, someone posted a couple days ago that only 72 spots were taken and rest were open. I have no clue what is going on there anymore.

aw man that really sucks to hear. So that means they accepted some people off the waitlist or interviewed list. If anyone was accepted recently please please let us know so we can confirm the post above!!
