Okay, I just talked to Dr. Brownstein and he said that nobody should expect to hear anything back, as far as second rounds are concerned, until "early February". Reaon being is because for the rest of January they will be assessing # of deposits and how many seats remain. Good luck everyone!

I have an interview in late Feb and I considering canceling. It looks like more spots will be taken by then.

yeah, i heard the same thing, kinda stinks that we have to wait a little longer, but owell. i just want to hear back from them so me and my wife don't have to pay our deposits for another school, but it doesn't look like that will happen in time.

does that mean that ppl who interview in late jan will also find out in early feb and be grouped with this second round? i hope so!!!!

I would imagine so. He told me that the purpose of their meetings were to determine how many seats they have left. I would assume that it would just be rolling after that point so I'm sure you would be considered too for the early Feb bid.

thank you for the response! i was worried that by interviewing in late jan it woudl be for a waitlist spot as mentioned in previous threads, i'm starting to think it's not so much like that and there is still a good chance for an acceptance even with this late of an interview date esp. considering they have even later ones scheduled. I still don't understand why a school would interview for waitlist spots so hopefully this means that it's not for the waitlist and there's still hope 🙂

Really? Interviews for waitlist spots?! I've never heard of that before. Well, for both of our's sake I hope they continue to do that to seal the already-interviewed in a realistic bid for a seat.

yea that's what I read on another post. I hope it's not true. I really hope a late jan interview is not for a waitlist spot.

Well, on the bright side, at least according to predents, a lot of the people accepted were also accepted to a number of different schools and it appears that many of the people that have been accepted have already deposited at other schools.

that is good to hear but there arent a lot of seats for out of staters like me so there's still plenty to worry about. I haven't even interviewed yet but have it coming up shortly so hopefully there's still room.

Do you guys know how many out of staters got interviews at UNLV? It seems like there is a billion and there are only a few seats. Kinda sucks eh!?
