UNM School of Medicine?

Does anyone have any strong feelings about this school? I like the school and location (NM resident) and am interested in getting as many opinions as possible. Thanks!

I was going to apply to UNM this year, but I found out too late that out of state applicants have to apply early decision. So, I missed it. That doesn't really help you though, sorry. I spent a year at UNM for undergrad and absolutely loved it!! I hope to move back there some day. Good luck and take care!

You said that you liked the school and the location, well, to me that is all you really need to know! Will you be happy there for the next few years? I think that you can get a good medical education anywhere, but it's up to you. But just make sure you are going to be happy where you are and then work your butt off! Good luck and take care!
