Unmatched rec letter

I had used Interfolio to send in a few recs I have, then I decided to not use 2 of them. I pressed delete, and they simply became "unmatched"

I just received an email from AMCAS saying:

" Letters will not be sent to medical schools until all of the following occur:
- the letter is received by AMCAS;
- the letter is assigned to a medical school where you would like it to be delivered, and
- your application is processed."

So naturally I kinda got worried. I went to AMCAS, created 2 new letter entries, and matched the two rec letters to the entires. I did not assign them to any of the medical schools though.

Am I ok now?

This is a situation where the smart thing to do is call or email AMCAS and ask them what you should do. It is their application, so they should be able to tell you exactly what to do. The smart thing to do isn't doing some weird thing with the letters and then posting on an anonymous forum asking if that made it all better.

Saving your post for future posters who search this topic since you deleted the main post in your other thread as soon as you got help which is a dick move on a forum that is made great largely by people being able to search for topics where others had similar questions.
