see, I'm not so sure about the quality of education. creighton's got a few huge pluses (sp?) -- less hardcore classtime and more time in groups, all exams on the computer standardized to the format of the USMLE (they really prepare you well for it, their pass rate is astronomical!), etc. also what i noticed is that UNMC overall just has a state school party vibe about it...maybe i'm biased because i went to HS with a lot of the kids who go there now (and i really do mean kids, so many of these people are immature and i still don't understand how they even got into med school) but creighton just seemed to have a higher calibur of students, which in turn produces a better learning environment (at least for me). people just seemed to take education more seriously there...and at the same time were able to have a lot of fun. i think the money issue is completely legit, and hope that as an in-stater, creighton will match what unmc gives me! (doesn't hurt to try and i've heard of it being done before)
