Hey everyone, I made this account because I don't know who to go to about this and I'm hoping some of you might have some suggestions.
I am a student in a DPT program that is a satellite campus located in a different state from the main university. The program is very small with only about a dozen faculty members who are all part of the PT program. There are two professors in particular who try to call all the shots and run all of the MSK courses for year 1 curriculum. In the past few months, a couple students have been failed by these professors, and although we may be partial to the side of the students, a number of classmates and I have sensed some injustice (fiddling with grades to result in a failing grade and failing on the grounds of personality differences). The problem is I am worried that if I express my concern about unfairness, it could potentially be used against me. I don't feel like I will be advocated for by any of the faculty (professors or even the director of the program). One of the students who was removed from the program even contacted folks at the main campus and only received the run-around. I feel isolated.
Can anyone relate? Any ideas of who to talk to about some of these issues? A lot of my classmates and I often wonder if certain things that happen in our program would be considered appropriate or acceptable in other programs. Thanks in advance.
