Hey JaredP...I remember that KAPLAN had practice tests and after taking them they give you your score online. Once they do that, I believe that you can only look at the questions and answers. I do not think you can take them over. But ask the KAPLAN people to make for sure. Also, I know that they have plenty of practice tests at the center, and there are practice tests available online. I'm retaking the MCAT July 8th. I've been studying for a while and now that I have made it through the material, I am going to spend the rest of the time taking lots and lots of practice MCATs. Thanks for your advice with the practice tests and I hope you hear some good news today! And congrats Meg!

And JaredP, you can take tests multiple times. A buddy and I did the exact same thing. But I found out later that all you have to do is call Kaplan and ask them to reactivate your own access and they will do it free of charge.

I called Kaplan a couple of months ago to reactivate my access and they shot me down...and this was right after my friend called and they did it for him. After much arguing with them, they stuck to it saying that it was against their policy. So my friend and I have been using his to do the online work and practice tests. I am guessing you are referring to being able to take the AAMC practice tests more than once? I took a Kaplan one and it won't let him take it again unless we are missing something.

hi everyone, this is my first post ever on sdn lol, but i am also waitlisted at U of L, and i am an OOS applicant. i have been following this thread for the last couple weeks. congrats to all of you who have gotten in and are getting the e-mails. I am also top-third, and the more of you that get in, the more i get happy that the wait list is moving lol, but i don't know if OOS has a different waitlist. i wake up every morning and i get nervous for a couple minutes before i check my e-mail, so hopefully that beautiful e-mail will come to me in the near future.

its sooo annoying right now, because i am enrolled in mcat classes to retake the mcats just in case i dont get in. and, all this studying may just be for no reason, so i really want that e-mail!!! i just wanna know what i will be doing, so i can enjoy my summer if im gonna be moving away from my beloved socal for med school.

So has everyone on here that was in the top third been accepted? Congrats guys, I'm really happy for you! I am still studying for that July 8 MCAT, while trying to deal with some family stuff (my uncle suddenly passed away 🙁). I'm losing about a week of MCAT studying since I'm out of town to be with my family for everything. A friend of mine and me are convinced that the MCAT brings bad things upon people...last year, he had two or three people in his family pass away the month before we took the test and now this year, it's my families turn. That darn MCAT...Anyways, congrats to all of you who made it and keep us posted throughout the next year with how it all goes and with any helpful tips you have for us!
 
^^^correction! NO! i am the unfortunate OOS'er who is in the top third, but has still not heard. i cannot even sleep in the mornings, because i automatically start tumbling around in bed for a couple hours anxious to check my e-mail lol. i really hope i hear in the near future, i want to go louisville so badly!!!!

and i am very sorry to hear about your family situation.

Man, that sucks. Just keep fighting the good fight and that MCAT will fold like a cheap suit under your crushing weight of knowledge!
 
I JUST GOT IT EVERYONE!!!! I was sitting on my bed, chatting on fb, about to leave my computer for the day...and my friend wouldnt stop talking, and boy am i glad he kept me on my computer, cuz thats when i got the email!

out of state all the way from Los Angeles! i have a feeling im gonna get there and everyone, except me, is gonna know each other...since there are so many people in state and from the surrounding colleges haha :laugh:

Anyone here doing pre-matric? I'm moving down next week and the program starts the seventh so maybe I'll see some of you there!
