Yeah I just went to visit over MLK weekend and went to a KY related event on the first night. It wasn't the KY house but it was a single home with 4 UOP renters (I think mix of 1 and 2nd years). It was a really nice place in a pretty safe neighborhood.

That neighborhood that you were in is probably one of the nicer ones in town. I would recommend getting a house there if you can.

Also, I would recommend a house over an apartment to anyone out there. You can usually find bigger houses that will fit four or five people, so the rent works out to be cheaper than an apartment.

And what is that PINT part of the application status checker since there is no date there.?

i am tier 3... my pchk was 12/1 and application complete 10/31 ( so late =) )

but PINT means the scheduled interview date (when they invite you)

I think that they are still reviewing all the tier 3 applications. No one had really posted anything here saying anything about an interview...
lets hope that this is a good sign

and i know the adcom is meeting this thursday. And last week interviews will find out most likely in 2-3 weeks. So maybe they are finishing up tier 3? and might be going back around to tier1-2-3 holds and etc...

i hope they are just waiting to see our grades from fall.

(well for me..i remember when i talkd to a counselor, she said its in my best interest to take upper division science classes at a 4 yr university...just so they can see if i can hack it out - i graduated with business admin.)

still praying that i will recieve a letter or email inviting me to an interview.

ohhh...i remember last year that one of my co-workers interviewed with UOP and it was the end of february..and she was invited two weeks before that..so we still have time.

I have an over all gpa of 3.4-3.5 but im not a science major...HOWEVER, im done with all the prereqs, and im only 21 years old. so i took all the ochem and bio, and etc, and then all of my major req, so maybe thats why they ask me for an interview? idk I hope i helped u guys? i know it must be nervous just sitting and waiting.

I talked with Veronica because I was trying to plan an out-of-country vacation in March/April... I asked her what she thinks the last possible date will be for interview, and she told me that they aren't sure yet, but she suggests booking my vacation for after March 30 to be safe. And yeah, she said they are reviewing apps through March! That is late...

Does anyone know whats up with PharmCAS academic update? They told me 9 days ago that everything was complete and that they were going to mail it out to my designated schools within 7 days. I haven't heard anything from those fools.

yes u do need to send ur transcript. it says it on the interview letter from veronica on the bottom of the page (ps). it clearly ask for ur current grades and transcript, and she also told me personally.

and for the interview questions and topics, everything they ask me was basically from the forum.



im so scared to get the results back..i keep checking my email...

He or she is a student at UCSD, but meant that whether the fall transcript is needed to be sent to UOP to be updated or not.

Do you know if the admissions committee looks at this as you forgetting to bring a passport photo?

The website doesn't tell you much. It just lists the documents received by UOP. If you have questions about missing documents, I'm sure they'll tell you that over the phone.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. But don't read too much into it. I thought I would use my passport photo (when I had shoulder-length hair), but I just got a haircut (very short) a week before my interview. Up to you though. There were a few other students who got their pictures taken too (I thought I would be the only one). Focus more on your interview and good luck

I had it taken there and was accepted. It basically says you have the option of paying $10 to get it taken there. It saved me the time and hassle of having to go to a Walgreen's or something to get it taken.

👍 I had my picture taken there and I was accepted too, so it's no big deal. Take a $10 bill or your checkbook though; they can't make change! 🙂

Nothing. You don't have an interview date. There's no point in checking the status except PCHK. Once that is filled you just wait for something in the mail. GL.

I think every thing was ok, but you never know if you did well or not until you receive an acceptance letter.

I was bummed too. 👎 Email/ Call Veronica if you want more info. I asked her and she was very friendly and informative, even though I'm sure she gets that question a lot.

On hold and wait listed is pretty much the same thing. You're on hold right now until they interview everyone...after that they will rank you and put you on a wait list. That's my understanding of it.
