I'm also in at UoP . . . I've been very quiet for a while cuz i had nothing to share but finally here's some good news. Also I interviewed at BU and Upenn but am choosing UoP regardless of what BU and Penn say. Good Luck to everyone who is waiting. I met one IDS student from previous year and was told s/he was waitlisted for good 4-5 months....but I would say that it is best to talk to either Pat King or Warren Chang regarding this to have a clear picture so that you will know that what exactly are you looking at.

The only concrete information in the alternate letter is that one has till January 3, 2006 to remit $500 deposit, refundable only if one is not selected from the alternate pool.

I wish I knew where I am on the alternate list. Does anyone know how big the alternate list is, or how fast the alternate list at UOP moves?

Looks Like I Dont Have Any Acceptance...wait Listed At Usc And Pacific ,,,,,hate These Waitlists ,,,,well What Can One Do If Not Accepted In Any Uni ,,,advice...... My Stats Are Part 1 = 89 ,Toefl 280 ,Part 2= 80 Should I Regive My Nbde????or Just Give Up And Try Something Else ......gosh I Feel Like A Looser

Don't feel bad "Alabama79". From what I have heard, a lot of people make it in when they are on the wait list. USC often has a lot of students drop out so you have a good chance. With new results coming out every week, especially UCSF this week, the picture should become clearer. If you want to redo NDB to make it to Boston this year, it is a valid option. However, if you are thinking redoing it for next year, then you can wait and see how these alternate lists pan out. Best of luck, and don't lose hope.
