UoP and Various Questions

I am pretty new to SDN as a member but have been following the discussions for awhile now. One thing that I really have not heard people talk about is adding more schools after you originally sent your AADSAS app. out.
Since I didn't think I was going to score in the 20's on the DAT I decided not to apply to UoP. Now I wonder if it is too late to apply and if I did would I still have a chance? Also, I took my G-chem and Bio at a Community College and I know how they frown upon that. Here are my scores what do you guys think, should I apply?
AADSAS GPA
Overall---3.89
Science--3.85
DAT TS-22 Bio-23 GC-20 OC-26 QRT-21 PAT-21 RC-19 AA-22
My other questions were if your scores change from the unofficial copy you receive to the official copy the schools see? Does anybody know the formula they use to determine your Academic Average and Total Science scores?

I'm not too sure about UoP, but I can answer your second question about how the TS and AA are calculated. The AA is just the average of the standard scores for bio, gen chem, org chem, rc, and qr. The TS is calculated by adding the raw scores for bio, gen chem, and org chem and then converting that to a standard score. If you want more clarification on the TS go to the ADA's website, click on the DAT link and click on "Estimate your score" on the right hand side. I'm in the same boat as you: my TS is lower than what it would be if you average the 3 sciences together. Oh well...

If you send out your scores and aadsas to UoP like, right now then you'd still be in good position.

Additionally, they're one of the schools that doesn't really care about community college credits. I know there's that thing on the website about some "equivalancy sheet" but they never actually ask for that.

Yea I was wondering about the TS score and how it was below the average. I look at friends scores who got either just above or just beneath and I can tell I missed the cutoff by just a little. Bummer! Thanks for the site though

Okay same question as the OP except for Washington and Oregon? I don't think either of them have started extending interviews

Washington is pretty hard for out of state people, but it doesn't hurt to apply. Oregon doesn't start the process of looking through applications (at least they don't contact people) as early as other schools, so you can still apply now and be fine. In fact, applying to any school right now should still be okay so long as you do it soon.
