I am just wondering if anybody else got a call today about the UoP faculty meeting the week of 10/16? I had to switch my interview from 10/16 to 10/30 because the faculty won't be there that week. It's fine with me though. Just as long as I get in there before the big day of December 1.

Yeah I was told the same thing. I was also told "Don't worry about it, you're in the first round of interviews" I think the 'first round' is highly indicitive of your chances of being accepted. Not to many people are rejected this first round from what I've heard.

That is awesome saxy ducky. I want to get in here so bad. I am hoping this is a good sign but there is also that feeling of insecurity. What day did you end up with?

I went with the 30th. I'll be flying in Friday or Saturday actually. Got the whole weekend then. I want to check out the city and get real comfortable with it all. Plus I just want an excuse to not work on hw all weekend.

I am doing the same. My wife and I are going out on Friday. I am interviewing on the 30 also. My dad went to UoP and I have been back with him to visit. Everything is a bit pricey but the city is awesome and you can't beat the three year thing.
