Received a phone call from Kathy Candito and set up an interview. I am pretty excited being that this is one of my very top choices. I am assuming more people will be getting the call as well.

They are pretty nice in their interview. They really emphasize humanistic values so they treat everyone nicely. It should be a fun time. You are so lucky. I don't know if I can get in because I don't have a very good PAT score. 🙁

Hope for the best. It is pretty well publicized that UoP encourages and favors high DAT w/ high PAT, but there is always more to an application and they could see something they like in yours or another's for that matter. Good luck in the admissions process.

submitted to aadsas around june 10th. completed application (e.g. LOR's) around 8/28ish? Good luck to you, your Predents profile looks good (nice DAT's).
 
Good luck at Pacific...I guess I'll have to sit by my phone now too. Waiting for invites for interviews is becomming very time consuming.
 
sumluck congrats! so far I have recieved 2 letters from them, when did you recieved the second one? It says in the letter I should be waiting 2 or 3 more week, just wanted to know how did it go for you!

congrats on getting the UOP interview 🙂 Their also one of my top choices. I just got their second letter saying my file is complete and their gonna start reviewing it now...anxiety.

I want to live in the housing sooooooo bad....we'll see what happens. It's such a neat place though, I was there last May.

I don't believe I received a second letter from them. So I am not able to answer your question. Good Luck though.

Good point. I'm outta here...not doing any work anyway. Vacation here I come...hopefully interview requests waiting on my return🙂
 
Anybody notice on PreDent.com that out of 23 UoP interviews , everybody was accepted? I like those odds 😛

If you get an interview at UOP before Dec 1, it means that the school is very interested in having you become part of the next matriculating class. Part of the interview process is to make sure you are really the person that the application says you are, and also to make sure you get a good understanding of what our school is about so that you can make an informed decision about where to attend. It's quite rare that people who have early interviews aren't accepted, but it does happen to few people each year. Those people who aren't accepted post-interview are usually rejected for misrepresenting themselves on the app or doing/saying something to offend the admin committee during the interview.
 
I am pumped. I just got my invite today around 11:00 arizona time. I am interviewing on 10-16. SWEET!!!
 
They called me on my cell while I was in my physiology class. I saw the 415 area code and jumped up and ran out of class to take the call.

CBC32, Bwestern, When did they start reviewing your app? thanx. also, what were your stats? thanx.
 
Mine is 10/16 also guys! We should do coffee or something first. I live in SF so if anyone has any Qs let me know. Congrats!!!!

HAHA, yeah, exactly what happened with me today also. They sure know how to disrupt physiology classes. Word of wisdom to everyone, write down the area codes of all your schools so you can book it out of class if they call.

I'll be there 10/16!!

Since I know it's coming...
App in 6/2
Application complete Sept 2nd or so.
9/18 interview invite

I got the call while driving my car looking for parking...I almost hit a bus as it merged back into traffic as I answered my phone.

I'm interviewing 10-12. My file has been under review since early August...I think August 8th or something like that.
 
I got the call around 12:15 right after jmick told me that he got his call. My aplication status just changed to under review last friday 9/15 but i know that they had my stuff at least a week longer than that. i think the only reason i receive an invite so fast is because of the deal they have with grand canyon
 
Got the call today while entering my interview at Creighton! 11/13 was the first available date...fine with me. Good luck to all and to all a good night.

San Francisco is a really great city.

The accelerated course at UOP is very attractive; UOP also has some great labs.

Thats amazing, how did they get to your application so fast, you submitted your application on aug 4th! did they already have your DAT scores along with your LORs already? when was your status on UOP complete? thanx and congrats!
