I tried to list pro and cons of each school. Right now i need SDN helps.
One thing is that i want to specialize. I want to be pedo for a very long time now, since i was my 3rd grade.

I saw that Michigan has more opportunities, so that a pros for me. But UOP i can finish school in 3 years but i am heard that they do not have as much reputation as Michigan <top 5 in NIH funding>.

What should i do?

Thanks in advance

I'm not the most educated person in regards to something like this but I would imagine that how well you do in ds will be a lot more important than the reputation it has. My advice would be pick the place where you feel would be the best fit for you personally. I think that would give you the greatest chance to succeed and get into a pedo school.

both good schools but i would choose penn- phily is a much more exciting place to live than ann arbor.. and only an hour from nyc

I think UofP is pacific? Maybe not though. I'm going to umich though 🙂

I think UOP wins slightly by the three year program, the California weather, and it is a uprising school with a lot of potentials. It would be a more comfortable, interesting and shorter dental school experience in UOP.

You put 4 +'s next to michigan and only 3 to UoP. I think you've already decided deep inside.

lol yea i laughed too.

anyways, if youre in state- go to michigan. if youre specializing, go to michigan.

i think michigan is better overall, but like you said UoP does have its upsides, mainly the 3 year program and the weather.

Massive fail. You can specialize from either school with hard work and perseverance. I agree on the in-state comment though, save as much money as you can. Whether one school is better than the other is highly debatable. Hard to beat the clinical experience at Pacific.
